Dog Walking & Dog Day Care

Our Newcastle and North Tyneside dog walking service is available to customers in the following areas:

North Shields, Wallsend, Tynemouth, Cullercoats, Royal Quays, Billy Mill, New York, Battlehill, Shiremoor, Backworth, West Allotment, Whitley Bay, Heaton, High Heaton, Benton, Longbenton, Forest Hall, West Moor, Jesmond, Byker – postcodes NE2, NE6, NE7, NE12, NE26, NE27, NE28, NE29, NE30

Furever Friends offers two types of walks. Your dog(s) can enjoy ‘solo walks’ (on his/her own) if they prefer to be walked 1-1, or group walks with other sociable, friendly dogs. We welcome all ages, sizes and breeds of dog on our walks.

I aim to vary our walk locations as much as possible, so your dog will never get bored…this I can assure you!

Walk locations include; Weetslade and Rising Sun Country parks, Havannah and East Cramlington Nature reserves, Holywell and Jesmond dene to name but a few.

I will always begin by walking your dog on a lead, or a long line (extra long lead!), until your dog has built up a bond with me, and will only then let him/her off lead with your permission.

Travel time to and from our walk location is not included in your dogs walk time, so if you choose a 60 minute walk, your dog may be out of the house for 2 – 2.5 hours depending on where we are going that day!

Your dog will be transported safely to their walk location in my van which is kitted out with secure, custom made cages. If your dog travels upfront with me, then they will wear a safety harness, and doggy seatbelt.

As part of the dog walking service, I will use my own leads, and where appropriate, harnesses. Clean drinking water and towels are always available in the van. I will towel dry your dog before bringing them home and I also have a selection of drying coats for rainy, wet days, or for those keen swimmers! These will keep your dog nice and warm on their journey home, with the added bonus of drying them too.

Once home, I will refresh your dogs water and can also give them a treat/food/medication if you require, before leaving them to happily snooze the afternoon away until you return.

You will receive regular updates on where your dog has been and what they have been up to on their walks, and I regularly post photos and videos of our walks on our Facebook page.

Before our dog walking service begins, I will arrange a convenient time to pop round and meet you and your dog(s) to discuss your requirements in detail. Part of this meeting may include a quick walk with you and your dog so I can get to know them a bit better.

For our doggy day care service, your dog will join all of our group dog walks that day. They will be collected between 8.45 am and 10.30 am, spend the day on walks with their doggy friends, and will be dropped home between 4pm and 6pm tired out from a days adventures! Treats (if allowed) will be provided throughout the day.

To arrange a meeting to discuss our dog walking or dog day care service, feel free to give me a call/text/email, or complete the Contact form and I will be in touch asap!
